PRICING FOR POSTERS

$11/R195 (ZAR varies due to exchange rate of the day) – this is a flat rate applicable to all my online posters which is my rate for an hour of poster design.  The reason I am using the flat rate is that there are several factors that will affect the cost of printing your poster. These factors include the size of your poster, the type of paper you use, and the printing method used. If you are looking to save money, consider printing your poster in a smaller size. A4 posters are a popular option as they are small enough to be placed in many locations but still large enough to be noticed. With the flat rate of $11/R195 (ZAR varies due to exchange rate of the day), I am leaving you room to budget for the creative impact you wish to make with your poster.

Measurements for International Paper Sizes

The most widely used for general printing and letterhead stationery is the A series. The most common of these sheet sizes is the international letterhead size A4, which measures 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 in, or 210 x 297 mm. These paper measurements are defined by the ISO 216 standard. Width x Height.

Additionally the following sizes are also widely used. Sizes like 11"x17" and then 18"x24" (often used for event promotion or home decor. 13x19 inches and 18x24 inches used at event venues and on bulletin boards for a more impactful advertisement than its smaller counterpart, this poster format size is eye-catching yet understated - 18x24 inches is a perfect size for hanging home decor and filling in empty wall space in your living room).

24"x36" (The 24x36 inch poster is the most popular large poster size, 2:3 aspect ratio, often found at trade shows, exhibits or malls, and its impressive dimensions make it a great conversation piece in your home).

27"x39"(This is the standard movie poster size. Also called a one-sheet, this recognizable poster is used inside cinemas to promote new films. Note however that not all film posters are made the same. Framing movie posters is simply a matter of matching the size it is).

A5: 148 x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 in) 14.8 x 21.0 cm

A4: 210 x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 in) 21.0 x 29.7 cm – this is your standard letter size.

A3: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in) 29.7 x 42.0 cm

A2: 420 x 594 mm (16.5 x 23.4 in) 42.0 x 59.4 cm

A1: 594 x 841 mm (23.4 x 33.1 in) 59.4 x 84.1 cm

A0: 841 x 1189 mm (33.1 x 46.8 in) 84.1 x 118.8 cm
